Curriculum Overview - St Clare's Primary School

Curriculum for Excellence

Curriculum for Excellence is Scotland's national curriculum framework for children and young people aged 3 to 18. It provides a broad, flexible and enriched education that helps learners develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they need for learning, life and work.

At St Clare's Primary School, we bring learning to life through engaging classroom experiences, interdisciplinary learning, outdoor learning and opportunities within our wider school community. We are committed to providing every child with a broad and balanced education across eight curriculum areas.

The Four Capacities

Through the experiences we provide, we support our children to develop as:

Successful Learners
Confident Individuals
Responsible Citizens
Effective Contributors
