Health & Safety
The safety and wellbeing of our pupils is of the utmost importance. We work closely with families to ensure that all children remain safe, happy and supported throughout the school day.
Please take a moment to read the important information below regarding road safety, pupil collection arrangements and jewellery.
Road Safety
For the safety of pupils, the gates in our school car park are closed daily between:
8:45am – 9:15am
2:45pm – 3:15pm
Please take care when using the car park and surrounding streets. Vehicles should only be parked in marked bays and must not park on the zig-zag lines outside the school.
Pupil Collection
Young children should be collected by a responsible adult at the end of the school day.
Please inform your child's teacher if there will be a change to normal collection arrangements.
If collecting your child during the school day, please report to the school office.
Anyone collecting a child should be over 16 years of age.
Earrings & Jewellery
If you are considering having your child's ears pierced, we recommend this is done at the beginning of the summer holidays.
Children are unable to participate in PE lessons while newly pierced ears are healing, which can take approximately six weeks.
For safety reasons, hooped earrings should not be worn to school.
