The internet is a fantastic place to learn, create, play and connect with others. At St Clare's Primary School, we help children become responsible digital citizens who can use technology safely, confidently and respectfully.
If anything online makes you feel worried, upset or uncomfortable, stop what you are doing and speak to a trusted adult.
Our Online Safety Rules
Following these simple rules will help you enjoy the digital world safely and responsibly.

Talk About It
Talk to a trusted adult about what you do online. Always ask for help if something does not feel right or if you are unsure what to do.

Keep Information Private
Never share your passwords, home address, telephone number, school details or other personal information online. Ask a trusted adult before sharing photographs or information about yourself.

Be Kind and Respectful
Treat others online with the same kindness and respect you would show in person. Never send or share something that could hurt, embarrass or upset another person.

Stop, Block and Tell
If you see something upsetting or receive an unkind or unwanted message, do not reply. Stop, block the person or account if you can, and tell a trusted adult straight away.
