Enrolling Your Child

Primary 1 Registration

P1 registration for children starting school in August 2026 will take place from:

Monday 3 November 2025 – Friday 7 November 2025

P1 Enrolment Form

Families will be notified of their confirmed P1 place no later than February 2026. Schools will then contact parents and carers to invite children to open days and visits ahead of the new school term.

What You Will Need

• A digital copy of your child's birth certificate, if required.
• The name of the local school you wish to register your child for.
• Proof of address may be required as part of the enrolment process.

Deferred Entry

If you are considering deferring your child's entry to Primary 1 in August 2026, you should still register them online for their catchment school until your deferral application is confirmed.

In-Term Enrolment

If your family is moving into Glasgow, or into the catchment area for St Clare's Primary School, you can enrol your child during the school year.

Please provide proof of your new address and complete the online enrolment form as soon as possible.
