Home Learning
Home learning helps children practise key skills, build confidence and share their learning with families. At St Clare's Primary School, we encourage children to develop positive routines and take pride in their learning at home.
Families can support home learning by encouraging regular reading, practising spelling and number skills, completing home learning tasks and talking with children about what they are learning in school.
Reading
Reading regularly at home helps children develop fluency, vocabulary, imagination and confidence.
Spelling & Literacy
Children may practise spelling patterns, handwriting, talking and listening tasks, or short writing activities.
Numeracy & Maths
Practising number facts, times tables, mental maths and problem-solving helps children build strong numeracy skills.
Digital Learning
Children may use online platforms and digital tools to support learning, practise skills and complete activities safely.
