Sacramental Preparation

At St Clare's Primary School, the Sacraments are a special part of our school and parish life. Children prepare for each Sacrament with the support of their families, parish catechists and school staff through This Is Our Faith. Prior to each Sacrament, an information session will be held for parents and carers.

Reconciliation 

Children in Primary 3 celebrate their First Reconciliation (Confession), learning about God's love, forgiveness and making positive choices. A workbook is provided to support families in sharing prayers and activities together at home.

First Reconciliation: Tuesday 16th March 2027

First Holy Communion 

In Primary 4, children celebrate their First Holy Communion, receiving Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time. Families are encouraged to take an active role in preparation and to share in this joyful milestone.

First Holy Communion: Saturday 15th May 2027

Confirmation 

Primary 7 pupils receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, strengthening their faith through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. This special celebration marks an important step in their faith journey and takes place within our parish community.
